In short: the WageBid add-on reads and writes only the spreadsheet you have open, and only when you click an action. We do not collect, store, sell or transfer your Google user data. This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking.
This policy explains how WageBid (“WageBid,” “we,” “us”) handles information in connection with the website at wagebid.pages.dev, the Google Sheets add-on “WageBid — SCA Wage Determination Lookup” (the “add-on”), and the SCA Bid Pricing Pro workbook.
1. The Google Sheets add-on
Google permissions (OAuth scopes)
The add-on requests only these three scopes:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/spreadsheets.currentonly— to read and write the spreadsheet you currently have open, and no other file in your Google account.https://www.googleapis.com/auth/script.container.ui— to show the add-on's sidebar and dialogs inside Google Sheets.https://www.googleapis.com/auth/script.external_request— to look up the wage determination you ask for and to check a license key, both through WageBid's own server, as described below.
The add-on does not request access to your Google Drive, Gmail, contacts, calendar or any other Google service.
How the add-on uses your spreadsheet
The add-on reads and writes only the spreadsheet you have open, and only when you click an action in the add-on (for example, inserting a wage determination). It writes the wage-determination data you asked for into that spreadsheet. It does not run in the background, does not read other spreadsheets or files, and does not transmit any spreadsheet content to WageBid or anyone else.
What leaves Google
The add-on sends data outside Google in exactly two cases:
- Wage-determination requests. When you look up a wage determination, the add-on asks WageBid's lookup server (hosted on Cloudflare) for it, and the server fetches that public record from SAM.gov at that moment. These requests contain only the state, or the WD number and revision, you chose. No personal information or spreadsheet content is included.
- License key verification. If you choose “Unlock Pro” and type a license key, that key is sent to WageBid's license-verification endpoint, hosted on Cloudflare, which checks it with Gumroad or Whop (the stores where license keys are sold) and returns whether it is valid. Only the license key is sent. We use it solely to confirm your purchase.
The add-on may save your verified license status in the add-on's own settings storage within your Google account so you do not have to re-enter the key. It is never shared.
What we do not do
- We do not collect, store, sell, rent or transfer Google user data.
- We do not use Google user data for advertising, profiling, or to train AI or machine-learning models.
- We do not allow humans to read your Google user data.
Google API Services User Data Policy
WageBid's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Removing access
You can uninstall the add-on in Google Sheets under Extensions → Add-ons → Manage add-ons, and revoke its access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
2. This website
- No cookies. The site does not set cookies.
- No analytics or tracking. There are no analytics scripts, tracking pixels, advertising tags or third-party trackers.
- Free WD lookup. When you choose a state or a wage determination, your browser asks WageBid's lookup server (hosted on Cloudflare) for it, and the server fetches that public record from SAM.gov. The request contains only the state, or the WD number and revision; we do not store it or tie it to you. Text you paste into the paste option stays in your browser.
- Fonts. Pages load the Inter typeface from Google Fonts. Your browser requests the font files from Google's servers, which receive your IP address as part of that standard request. Google Fonts does not set cookies.
- Hosting. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver and protect the site. We do not use this data for analytics or tracking.
3. Purchases
Payments are handled by Whop or Gumroad under their own terms and privacy policies. We never see or store your full card details. From the store we receive the order details needed to deliver your purchase and provide support, such as your name, email address, product and license key.
4. Email
If you email us, we use your message and email address only to reply and to help you. We do not add you to a mailing list or share your email.
5. Retention, security and your choices
We keep order and support records only as long as needed to support your purchase and meet legal and tax obligations. You can ask us to access or delete the information we hold about you by emailing us. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
6. Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above. Material changes affecting the add-on will be described on this page before they take effect.
